Secure Infrastructure Access (SIA) Service Degradation in il-central-1 (IL region)

Resolved
Resolved

The issue has been resolved and all affected flows have returned to normal operation.

Recovering

Affected flows appear to be recovering and are returning to normal operation. We are continuing to monitor the situation to confirm full resolution.

We will provide a final update once everything is confirmed stable.

Updated

We are continuing to work with AWS to explore mitigation options and resolve the issue. No additional changes to the scope of impact have been identified at this time.

Next update: As soon as new information becomes available.

Identified

We have completed our initial investigation and identified the scope of impact.

Root Cause: An upstream outage/degradation with AWS RDS in the il-central-1 region.

Impacted Feature: ZSP SSH/RDP with Dual Control Flows

  1. Users cannot create new requests
  2. Approvers cannot approve new requests
  3. ZSP connections that require Dual Control are not working

This affects only customers who have configured Dual Control in ZSP Access Policies for RDP/SSH connections.

Not Impacted:

  1. Vaulted connections with and without Dual Control
  2. ZSP connections without Dual Control
  3. All other flows outside of Access Request

Mitigation: We are actively working with AWS to gather further information on the resolution of this issue, and are exploring temporary mitigation pathways in parallel.

We are continuing to investigate whether any additional flows are affected. Further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.

Next update: Within 90 minutes, or sooner if new information becomes available.
